Default HP Deskjet 4200 connected to my desktop

Hello,
I am having HP Deskjet 4200 connected to my desktop. And I am having a laptop with which I want the printer to be shared. Both of my pcs are having windows xp as OS. And I am using PRONET wireless router for accessing internet. I am able to share the drive between these pcs but I am not able to share my printer between these. I have made my printer shared from my desktop. I tried to trace the error in it then it showed me that print spooler service is not running on your pc. Also I checked the service using services.msc but it is running. So what should be the problem that I am not able to share the printer? Please Suggest me…………….

Thank you so Much!!

Method #1

It might be due to XP's data execution prevention.
To add print spooler service to the excluded list :
1. Go to System Properties>Advanced
2. Select Performance>Settings
3. Select Data Execution Prevention
4. Select Turn on DEP for all programs and services
5. Click Add
6. Add C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exe
7. Select Open
8. Select OK when you receive the warning
9. Select Apply

Method #2

1. Start>Run>Type "services.msc"
2. Under Services locate "LexBce Server">Properties>Under General Tab go to "Start up type" and select Automatic.Click ok
3. Go to "Print Spooler" verify that Startup Type is set to Automatic>then Start the Service Status >click ok
4. Control Panels>Printers>add your printer.

Method #3

1. Start>Run>type NET STOP SPOOLER and press OK
2. Start>Run>type NET START SPOOLER and press OK

Hope it helps.
