Windows may sometimes get nasty. You may need to find some hidden files and folders in that.

If you are looking for how to find the hidden files and folders in windows 7, You need to follow the steps below

• Click Start
• Open Computer
• Press the ALT key
• Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options
• Select the View tab
• Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders
• Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option
• Click Yes to confirm
• Click OK

close all the files first 2.go to start 3. click on the control panel 4.click on the Appearance and Personalization link
5.Under the Folder Options category, click on Show Hidden Files or Folders 6. go to the Hidden files and folders section select the radio button labeled Show hidden files, folders.
Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide protected operating system files (Recommended).
Press the Apply button and then the OK button..
Now Windows 7 is configured to show all hidden files
