Default Windows 7 & Laptop

Hi;

I own a Hp ProBook 4150s laptop with windows 7 installed.

When i first purchased the laptop , it was very fast.

But After a few months, it began to slow down.

can anybody suggest me some performance tips?

it happened when i puchased another computer.

IMO, You need to format your laptop

i do not want to format it.

isn't it possible improve speed without formatting?

i have some important data stored in it.

can you suggest me any performance tools for windows 7 ?

Hi if you don't install a unusable software and always use this command (temp,%temo%,recent,prefetch, and chkdsk) and always use a latest anti virus
so may i hope your computer is very good do fast work.

Windows 7 is most great from windows vista, but i like unix distributions - Ubuntu, Fedora

That is my choice

Are Ubuntu and Fedora compatible with any kind of hardware?

you can use tune Up utilities to speed your pc...,

That may be because of the files you may have downloaded into your system. Clear up your system and if required get it formatted as well.
